Privacy Policy for CareQ

This Privacy Policy explains how Earth Business Zone ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the CareQ mobile application (the "App"). CareQ is a hospital OPD (outpatient department) token booking and queue management application. By using CareQ, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information so that the App can function:

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your patient or staff account.
To process OPD token bookings and display real-time queue position.
To send you notifications about your token and appointment.
To allow hospitals to manage their departments, doctors, staff, and queues.
To maintain the security and proper functioning of the App.

3. How Your Data Is Stored and Protected

CareQ uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database), a service provided by Google LLC, to securely authenticate users and store App data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on Google's secure infrastructure. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication and are never stored or visible to us in plain text.

4. Sharing of Information

We share your information only as needed to provide the service:

With the hospital you book with — your name and token details are visible to authorized staff of that hospital so they can serve you.
With Google Firebase — as our hosting and authentication provider.
When required by law — if we are legally obligated to disclose information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active. Unattended tokens are automatically cleared on a daily basis. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, visit our Account & Data Deletion page or email us at the address below. Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

CareQ is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
